'I know this doesn't encompass the a few of the groups I'm sending it too, but anyone that has a love of aviation and the drive of some people to make the Mecca Oshkosh, should appreciate this story. If it is inappropriate, please forgive me, but my passion overcame my judgement!
A few days ago a friend sent out some beautiful shots of the DH-4 he took at Oshkosh. It was a beautiful restoration but the little did we know the full story behind the trip it took to get it there. Thanks to my good friend and world travler Tom Beamer for passing this link along.... Very interesting and just shows the love, care, and devotion that goes along with the joy of flying these classics! It also shows just how that love of these classics is shared wherever you go and our faith in humanity is renewed. The website it came from is a good one also!
Tailwinds to all!
