'Sean,

Good luck with your organization. Although I fly a Fairchild 24, I
also fly a pre-war Taylorcraft and am restoring another Taylorcraft
(both qualify as Light Sport Aircraft). As the population of General
Aviation pilots ages, some of us will be watching for less
restrictive alternates for flying. Flying is a joy. Flying my
Fairchild 24 is a LOT more comfortable than flying my Taylorcraft BL-
65, but they are both a LOT of fun and good for the soul.

Good Luck.

'Sean,
I would also like to wish you best of luck. I am restoring a
Fairchild 24 and have been flying a 1941 Taylorcraft that I restored in
1999. My Dad is 85 now and only flys when he comes to visit, So far he
hasn't had any medical problems but may be interested in in the Sportpilot
lisense so we will check into it. I think my T/craft will qualify to be
flown as a sportplane.
