I still have the Hayes brakes--I fly my Taylorcraft with mechanical brakes most of the time so used to not have that much stopping power.          Thanks to everyone for the information! 

 
Hi BuellIts been a while!Take Jamie's advice, flush with Denatured Alcohol then use the Dot 5. Did you install Cleveland system or sticking to the Hayes brakes?Jim C.
