'I am new owner and looking for a Manual for the Menasco D4 engine. I
have a copy from ESSCO but quality is very bad. I have an original
Menasco Manual for the C4 engine but there is quite a bit of
difference. Does anyone have an original version of the D4 manual?
I am looking for Menasco D4 engine parts. Can anybody help?
Anybody have a manual for the Stromberg NA-R4D carb?
I am wanting to fabricate a cylinder wrench to remove the D4
cylinders. Menasco describes a special cylinder wrench. Does
anybody
have one to draw me a tracing of shape?
Thanks, Styx'

'I have a copy of the original D4 manual and could make a copy if you haven't already found what you are looking for. Let me know.

Re: Fairchild 22 and Menasco Questions
'Greg: Thanks, I already have a copy I bought from ESSCO. The
engine drawings are not so good, but acceptable. I also have a full
copy of Menasco Engine Service Bulletins. I am looking for any
other documentation on the engine. I have an original copy of the
C4 manual but that engine did not have internally lubed valves so
the cylinder heads are very different.
I am going to pull the cylinder heads and have to fabricate two
wrenches -- one for the four cylinder head nuts and one for the push
rods and am looking for someone who has done that and fabricated the
tools. The engines came with a tool kit but, alas, I have never
seen any.
Thanks for the help. Finding Menasco owners who are willing to
share is proving difficult. Regards, Steve
