Oil Air Separator Install

Post by Pilot4906@aol.com »

'Does anyone have an original PT manual pages showing an Oil/air separator?
I have seen some mention of such an installation but it does not show in any
of the manuals we have at Vintage Aircraft Group.

If not in any manual does anyone have a Form 337 showing an approved
installation?

'Find a Ranger with a vacuum pump for the paper work. There is a small wedge
shaped separator about 6" high, 4" wide, 2" thick at the top one inlet, one
outlet with a restrictor, the vent over board. The bottom of the wedge has
one outlet at the bottom to drain in to the top of the cam box. There is
space at the top of the fire wall

to mount this separator neatly and discretely If you need a picture please
ask. Bob Haas

'Please send pictures. None of the PT's arould here have the setup. Our IA
wants some proof that there was an installation that was approved.
