Hayes wheels and brakes

Post by Tom Downey »

'I just bought 2 wheels off E-Bay, after removing the brake drums, I
found heavy corrosion between the drums and wheel, these corrosion
deposits were forcing the steel drum away from the aluminum wheel.
By forcing the drum to move away, the corrosion products would make
the drun out of round.

Inspect your wheels, specially after long periods of no use. I can
repair these corroded wheels.

I will have a complete set of manual brakes and wheels for sale,
after I get them cleaned and repaired.'

I'mpossibly interested in your wheels & brakes, as long as they're
servicable. Mine I just found out, are junk, so I'm interested in what
you have available.
