Crank inspection

Post by Walter L Nelson »

'I am having trouble finding someone to inspect the crakshaft from my
Ranger 440-5. They say it is too long to fit in their machine.
Anybody have a place I could it to?'

'John Ferrero can magnaflux and do everything to a crank except grind it. He
also has some serviceable +.10 pistons, but no new ones for whoever asked
about that.

Call him at J&C Aircraft Engines, 270-527-2208. His ad is in the Fairchild
Flyer usually.
