Sv: [fairchildclub] tailwheel spacers for 10"SC tailwheel

I made my spacers of a steel tube fitting the bolt.
I also found that the yoke differs in dimension so again it is best to make them fit your 10´yoke. The bushings must also fit the seals you have and those differs to.
The 10´tail wheel was at the time a army speck, UC 61, so I don´t think there is a STC for it. John Berent has probably all the drawings.

'Thanks for the word. Talked with John and he said the same thing. Got some tubing and made some . Came out O.K. Operates and flies great. Have some shimmy but not hard. It's relieved by forward pressure on the stick. Will have to get new tail wheel tire (ordered but not yet reciieved). That and thorough greasing of the tailwheel assembly may relieve the shimmy . Thanks again
