Fairchild Emblem Uploaded

Post by purplewhite1978 »

'Today, I uploaded a "high-resolution" version of the Fairchild
Emblem over Ribbon-Striped Mahogany.
This is a digital copy of a mahogany plaque that I made about 10
years ago, for my livingroom.
A copy can be found inside the "Photos" section of the Fairchild
Club General Album, and a 2nd copy inside our Air Zoo Folder. If
desired, click the "full-size" link after viewing the photo, then
save it to your computer. The image should be of a high enough
quality to allow a person to burn to a CD, then, have it
commercially printed on vinyl with my permission for "one-time only"
use. (Private use only)
Plaque created by Greg Ward-1994.'

'Not to be a pain in the ass, lads...but Greg..would it be possible
for you to leave a hyperlink or something directly to the "Fairchild
Club General Album"? This may help any newcomers to the list to
become more aware of what is available on these sites and to help
computer challenged nerds like me to get to it also. I'm guessing it
is in the Yahoo groups Fairchild thing but I did log into Yahoo groups
the other night and found some link towards the Fairchild area but
still could not access the Photos section. Sorry for the trouble, but
I'm keen as hell to see anything relating to any Fairchild. Thanks.

'I have gone round and round with it too, and still no PT-23. I logged
in with my yahoo id and pass word and still could not find anything.
Would like to see it too.

'David,
Good evening Sir.
I want to understand what you are asking for.
Below is a direct link to the Air Zoo's PT-23 Photo Album, found within the Fairchild Club Yahoo Group Page.
Hopefully, when you click on this, it will promt one to sign into yahoogroups. (Username and password)
Beyond that, the only folks who would not be able to click on the "photos" section would be persons who have yet to "join the group", or persons who have not signed in. (I would imagine that you must already be a member since you received this message earlier today)
Try this link and let me know whether or not it worked OK:
http://photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/fairchildclub/lst?&.dir=/AIR+ZOO-Kalamazoo%27s+Fairchild+PT-23HO&.src=gr&.begin=9999&.view=t&.order=&.done=http%3a//photos.groups.yahoo.com/group/fairchildclub/lst%3f%26.dir=/AIR%2bZOO-Kalamazoo%2527s%2bFairchild%2bPT-23HO%26.src=gr%26.view=t
Have a great evening!
G
P.S. Here is a link to the Fairchild Club Yahoo Group Home Page...Just in case the other route does not work out:

'Thanks for the try G, but neither seem to work for me. I tried both ways and got a Group_Error
message. I logged out of Yahoo and back in twice with the correct password etc and same
error. Guess I'm just cursed, eh? I'll give it another go tomorrow.
