hot air boxes

Post by Melvyn Hiscock »

'I need to get a carb hot air box for the 145 Warner.

I thought I had one lined up but it has failed to materialize so I am
back on the hunt. I have the Stromberg NA5 carb and I would be
interested to know what other motors this carb was used on. I know it
was used on both the 145 and 165 Warners but, as I am sure some of
you know, any parts labelled "warner' seem to attract higher prices.

Does anyone know of other engines that were fitted with these as I
can then track down a carb intake without using the magic word of
"warner"

If anyone has a spare carb intake and hot air box I would love to
hear from you. If you know of any alternative parts that can be made
to fit then I would be equally pleased to hear from you.
