Post by P6EHawk »

'I'll be looking for a tailwheel soon for my 51. Could someone please give me a bit of insight into the
F-24 and say it's gross weight and what size wheels, tires and brakes are normally fitted?
I'll likely be pirating a few parts of something like that for my project.
Also, I'm looking for a three lever throttle quadrant in a real old style if possible. Thanks.

'David,

TheF24 the postwar ones were about 2550 gross. The main gear was Hayes
wheels and expander tube brakes. The tire were 650-10. Some had *8 inch
tailwheels and some had 10 inch ones. These were the SC tires 10 .
