Ranger oil screen crush gasket?

Post by danMichael »

'Does anyone have a source for the AN900-34 copper/asbestos crush gasket
for the main oil screen on the Ranger? Its 2 1/8" ID. Apparently its
an unusual size and none of the usual aircraft suppliers that Ive
contacted so far have it in stock. I will reuse the old one if
necessary, but it seems pretty flat and was weeping a bit already.

Thanks.

'A follow up to my email to the group about using Al Holloway for engine work.
I had a real problem with Al, sued him and won. I would uncategorically
recommend NOT to use him. I'd be happy to discuss details over the phone.
Jamie and John- Al needs to be put onto our "do not call" list, just like
Aero Propeller.
