trying to locate Fairchilds

Post by Drew Coats »

'John,

I am the president of a group that is opening a civil aviation museum in
Houston this fall. The museum recently received some very nice photos
of the opening day of the art deco air terminal we are restoring on
September 28, 1940. The photos show a number of Fairchilds, two of
which are still on the registry. The photos are on the Museum website,
www.1940AirTerminal.org . Does anyone
have any ideas on how to track down N18654, an F-24R-9 registered to
Alfred S. Perkins of Stonebridge, GA, or N16878, and F-45 registered to
Jerry E. Brown of Louisburg, KS?

Thanks,

Drew Coats

trying to locate Fairchilds

'Does anyone know of the fate or whereabouts of R40-414, originally
registered as NC-28507, or W9-107, originally registered as NC-93?
Neither appear to still be on the US registry.

Thanks,

Drew Coats'
