'Rust thought I'd share what has been happening with me and Randolph,
or more accurately, Randolph's supplier over here in the UK and
Randolph.

My Rearwin was in Stearman Vermillion and I eventually tracked down
that Randolph still do this as a special order so in October I got
the UK distributor to order it. They didn't get around to ordering it
from Randolph until after Christmas and in early March I get a call
to say there is a problem (on paint I ordered in MARCH!!!). Randolph
have just moved factory and will not fulfill any custom orders at the
moment. Despite the fact this was ordered months ago and it was
Randolph in the US who told me the paint reference and that I should
order through the UK Distributor. He now tells me that he is getting
nothing helpful from Randolph.

Meanwhile I am now covering and have no color. Today I got a sample
of the color from a guy in Alabama and took it straight round to a UK
company who can supply butyrate mixed over here. Same price and I get
it in a week.

If the guy in Alabama hadn't come up with a color match I would still
be waiting moths from now.

If it ain't standard get a firm promise on delivery before you order.
