Fairchild 24 for sale

Post by Tom Downey »

'I recieved this in my e-mail today, any one interested?

My father now has pancreatic cancer and is in the process of trying
to find someone that is interested in purchasing his 1939 Fairchild
24. It needs to be restored and is not airworthy. WE moved the plane
to it's current resting place in the late 50's. It has a Ranger
engine and my father has the original log book for the plane.

I do not know if you are interested in ths plane but if you know
someone that is, I would appreciate any help that we may receive.

The plane is located 30 miles East of Atlanta, Georgia.

If you or anyone you know is interested, I will be glad to give you
my father's name and phone number.

Thank you for your help in advance.

you can contact the owners kid at

flytyer@saltwaterflytying.com

He is the one selling the old Fairchild for his Dad, He already has
a couple offers, but I don't know what they are.
He looked at my web site and thought I would know some one who
wanted it, so I posted it here and sent out a few E-Mails to get the
ball rolling.
