Engine mount rubbers

Post by melvynhiscock »

'Hi,
I am new here and really an imposter as I have a Rearwin Cloudster but I could
use some help.

My airplane has a 145 Scarab and this was fitted to what I believe was a F24
mount married to the old Rearwin mount. It has the shock absorbers in the
mount ring. These are oval rubber pieces about an inch across and one and a half
inches long with a aluminum tube to sleeve the mounting bolt. I have most of
these but would prefer to replace the lot since the rest of the airplane is going
to be 100% (OK, 99.5!)

Can anyone help with a source for these?

I could also use three 1 inch pulleys. These are about 3/8in deep and are used
for 1/8in cable. The Rearwin uses about twelve of these and they just ain't made
no more. I can have them machined but if anyone has them it will save a lot of
messing around.

Thanks in advance guys,

Melvyn Hiscock'
