'Folks,

My rear elevator control 'Rod End' has been condemned.

It is 7/16 inch male thread with a 3/4 inch ring and a Fafnir S1K-5 Bearing which has a 1/4 inch bore.

The problem is trying to match a 7/16 inch shaft with a 1/4 inch bore.

Does anybody have a seviceable one for sale or know where I could buy one or a modern equivalent?

I am also looking for Flat Head Machine screws with 82 degree countersink 1/4 X 1 1/8 and 1/4 X 1 3/8 All the usual sources do not stock them or the rod ends these days.

I have some control rod ends that might work for you. Give me a few days and I will dig the box out and check for you. If I do you can have it just pay the postage.
