Warner engines w Curtis Reed props available

Post by dcasali »

'This might help someone.

From the current issue of EAA Vintage Airplane, pg 27

"For sale, reluctantly, Warner 145 and 165 engines ( 1 each), new
overhaul and low time. No tire kickers, please. Two Curtis Reed props to
go with above engines.

EE "Buck Hiller, (815) 923-4591 buck7ac@mc.net

(wish I could afford one of those props!)

'Hey guys,

Dan if f you have a tappered shaft Warner I can sell you a Curtis Reed for $4,500. Yellow tagged and not flown yet. You will never like any other prop on your airplane! Anyone in the Fairchild group can have it for the same price.

We also do Ranger overhauls at $10,000 exchange, Warners $16,000 exchange. 220 Cont. and Jacobs are also on our list.

I also have an Airmaster project for sale for you guys that like to go a little faster than the 24. I also have an SR9 Stinson project for you guys that want a big airplane. I would like to contract this one as finished airplane.

Contact Gene for details. Gene@vintagewings.com or 480-614-5778
