Insurance for 'club' PT-26?

Post by sdefor01 »

'Hello,
I'm writing to inquire about aircraft insurance for our group. Our
group, Vintage Aircraft Group, Inc.
(http://www.vintageaircraftgroup.org)is a 501-c-3 non profit
organization that is nearing completion of a PT-26. We will be set-
up similar to a club or FBO where the Aircraft will remain owned by
Vintage Aircraft Group and have a group of pilot members who will be
checked out in the aircraft by our chief pilot who has pt-26
experience. Training will also be given in the aircraft. Pilots
will pay fees based on flight hours. What is the best way to go
about getting insurance for this aircraft? Is there a better way for
us to structure our flight program, as far as insurance is
concerned? This is our first flying aircraft. Who has everyone here
used for insurance? Thanks for your time.
