CD Rom Effort

'Members,

I have started the follow on to the Fairchild CD ROM intital program.
This will be a one if not a two year effort. I have had to reduce the
amount of data on the current CD release do to limits on storage
media. The data will be in the same style and format with
enhancements as things develop.

What I need from the club members is all the data they we can locate.
Send this data to me or to John Berendt. We will ensure its safe
return. Now is the time to do this...

Look over the list below, I think you like what you see.

This is what I am working toward:

Volume 1 will contain: Fairchild Flyers, Technical Tips Index,
History, Misc Photos, Parts and Service Listing, Maintenance (100hr &
Annual) Check Lists, Pre-Flight Check lists. Public Release Data,
Fairchild Stories.

Volume 2 will contain: KR Series Airframe Cert Drawings, SBs, ADs,
Photos, Tech Tips, Misc Drawings and Data, FAA Data, Public Release
Data, Fairchild Stores

Volume 3 will contain: F-22 Series Airframe Cert Drawings, SBs, ADs,
Photos, Tech Tips, Misc Drawings and Data, FAA Data, Public Release
Data, Fairchild Stores


Volume 4 will contain: F-24 Series Airframe Cert Drawings, SBs, ADs,
Photos, Tech Tips, Misc Drawings and Data, FAA Data, Public Release
Data, Fairchild Stores


Volume 5 will contain: 24R9 & 24W9 Instruction Manual and Operating
and Service, 24R40 & 24W40 Instruction Manual, Service and Wiring
Diagrams, 24R46 & 24W46 Operation and Service, Wiring Diagrams


Volume 6 will contain: 01-115CA-1 (UC-61 & UC-61A) Pilots Flight
Instructions Manual, 01-115CA-2 (UC-61K) Pilots Flight Instruction
Manual, 01-115CA-2 (UC61-A & UC-61K) Erection & Maintenance Manual,
01-115CA-2 (UC61-A & UC-61K) Illustrated Parts Manual

Thanks for the look see on the C8E. As for Auto Fuel STC, here it is. Petersen has it for 24R and 24W models. Keep it at a 50/50 mix, works best.

Jamie

I have 5 or 6 rolls of 35mm microfilm of PT drawings. I would like to
put on CD. I think if I can get them into my computer I may be able
to fix them up with autocad and the like. My only problem is how to
get them off the 35mm and on to a CD. I would appreciate any help you
may be able to provide in this endeavor.

The only way is to have them digitally scanned. I have a company in town that
does that sort of work. Need to find out if the film you have is just the
minor piece parts or real data. Give me a call, lets talk.
