FAIRCHILD CD ROM

Post by Jamie S. Treat »

'Fellow Fairchild Members,

The remainder of the CD Roms were mailed today. If you ordered and
paid for your copy, you should receive by this Friday if not sooner.
If you just ordered your copy with in the last few weeks,
distribution will occur from Club HQ. We have received feedback
already, and members are pleased. If you have any questions drop me a
line.

I am in the process of collecting more data, F-22/F-24 and also KR
series. Again if any data you want to include, send it on to the
club, you will get it back if so desired.

Sincerely

Jamie S. Treat'

'Hi Jamie:
Would you please tell me what all is on the FAIRCHILD CD ROM? I own a 1936
F24W. Would it be useful to me and if so, how do I go about purchasing one?
Thanks, Sharon Biloff

'Sharon,

The CD ROM covers the F-22, F24R, F24W and some data for the PT series. Lots
of data on the F24W. Go to the Yahoo Fairchild site, then go to the files
section. View the PDF file "Introduction CD Rom"

If you cannot read the PDF file, here is a list of folders that contain data.
Everyone that has ordered and received is loving it. I have gotten the most
wonderful comments. On this CD there is almost 700 meg of data, I had to cut
out about 34 meg to get it on one CD.

List:
F-22 Cert Drawings
F-24 Cert Drawings
F-22 Photos
F-24R Photos
F-24W Photos
FAA Data
Fairchild AD & SB
Fairchild Parts and Service list
Fairchild Public Release data
Fairchild Stories
Flight Manuals
Misc Drawings and Data
Misc Photos
Ranger Engine AD and SB
Warner Engine AD and SB

To order, send a check for $40.00 to the Club. Make a note on the check what
it is for. John will ship out of bench stock. I guarantee you will like it.

Also if I do not have a Photo of your ship, do send one, will be included in
next release version 2002.1. Any other data you have send it to me, I will
get it back to you if you want a return.
