And They are Not Flying?

America is the Greatest country in the World. What makes America so
great is the Privileges we are granted in the name of Freedom. One of
the greatest symbols of Freedom is the privilege of Flight. Nowhere
else in the World do individuals have the privilege to soar about
mother Earth with the ease that America's Freedom allows.

September 11, 2001 that Freedom, That Privilege was removed. It
struck me while driving home that the little signs of Freedom, those
aircraft that I normally see are not flying. The News crews and
traffic reporters that provide the daily commuter information are not
Flying. Those Airliners carrying Businessmen, Vacationers, and many
others are not Flying. The Police Helicopters chasing the Bad Guys
are not Flying. Those light aircraft carrying individuals on the
ultimate freedom ride above earth are not Flying. The Care Flight
Helicopters ferrying those in need are not Flying. The Crop dusters
spraying the crops that make America the Food Provider of the World
are not Flying. The small Cessna's carrying a person from a rural
area into the City for much needed Medical care are not Flying. The
many aircraft carrying Boxes and Crates of parts to our industries
are not Flying. The recently named United States Advanced World
Aerobatic Team who should be practicing are not Flying. And those
aircraft carrying critical medical hearts, kidneys and other
transplant materials are not Flying.

We Must not allow these Terrorist to take away the Privilege of
Flight. Flying is one of the most visible signs of America's Freedom.
We must continue to Fly, to defend the privilege of Flight, to Defend
against Airport closures and Show the terrorist that America is
Strong, proud and Free!'
