CD ROM

Post by Jamie S. Treat »

'Members,

I have uploaded the rough draft of the INTRO and TOC for the CD Rom.
Take a look. The Hyper Links in blue will work. Note the TOC and what
will be contained within the CD. You will all be pleased, lots of
data and photos going back 70 years.

If you have ordered your CD, get with me or John Berendt. The price
is $30.00. I will also have a demo at the Type Club tent and also at
the Forum on Thursday. You will have the chance to view and learn to
use.

Sincerely,

Jamie S. Treat'

Phillips 25/60 ?

Post by Steven Borders »

'Wasn't the Phillips oil for radial engines 25/60
weight?

Anyway... Someone posted a note some time ago that
they have found an internet source for that Phillips
oil, but I don't remember seeing a reference to the
company. Would you please identify that supplier?

Phillips pulled back from distributing in eastern Iowa
a few years ago and I haven't learned of a source for
their products.

Thanks,

Steve Borders

'Members,

LOOKING FOR SOME SCANNING HELP!!!!!

I'm finishing up the new Fairchild CD ROM (8 Vol Set). Will be on
three CDs. I had cut quite a bit of data out of the single CD cut.

Looking for help on some scanning on about 13 issues of the Flyer. I
have all the rest of them in PDF format, good quality.

If anyone wants to help, let me know. Want to take some copies of
the new version to Sun-N-Fun. The price of the new CD set will be
the same as the first version.

You will be pleased with the data we have collected.

You can send the electronic version to me in TIFF, JPG, PDF, format.
I can convert if necesary.

Sincerely,

Jamie S. Treat'
