'Tom,

Call John Goldbaum at Poly Fiber. Give him all your aircraft information and he will put it on the approved list. Very simple.

Then again I would use dope and Ceconite!!!

For waht it's worth.

Gene,

I talked to John at Poly-Fiber on Friday. His process was to fill out the form in the poly-fiber manual in order to get the F24W on the eligibility list. That takes a lot of paper work for me because I talked to my FAA inspector and he told me that in order to do this he would have to supervise the cover from start to finish through the entire covering process.

That is not possible at this point because the airplane is already covered. That's why he suggested a 337 field approval.

Tom

Thanks for your interest and input.

My experience has been much easier than that.

Does anyone know how I can get in touch with Kent Travers. I am looking for an Aeromatic prop that is either serviceable or can be overhauled. Needed to fit a F-24 Warner165 hp. Thanks,Tom

Looking for an F24

Post by gacoats »

'Our family is shopping for a vintage airplane and an F24 is a leading
contender. Ideally, we would be looking for a round motored F24 with
solid airframe and decent engine and fabric times, but not necessarily a
show or contest plane.

If you are selling such a ship, or know of someone who is, please
contact me. While a Ranger powered ship is a little less likely, I
would appreciate info on those as well.

Thanks!

'Drew,

A radial engine F24 is hard to find. I do not know of any for sale. I know
of several good Ranger powered one's. Send me your address and I will send
you a copy of the newsletter with some ad's in it.
