'The E-Continental engine in my 51 Bonanza has an external oil tank/cooler. The Bonanza Society recommended using Ace Hardware's Liquid Paint Stripper(don't remember the part#)to clean it. It is almost all methylene chloride and very effective. Safe for aluminum. Be careful if your tank is painted.I ...
