Fairchild 24 Tailwheel Tow Bar

'Is anyone aware of a commercially available tow bar that will function on the tailwheel of a 24? Grumman, Ercoupe etc? I like the collapsable Bogi-Bars, but have no clue what may fit/work.

Hayes Brake System Flush

'I've incorrectly topped-off my Hayes brakes master cylinders with fresh DOT 3, rather than the DOT 5 used during prior servicing. I discovered that the fluid loss was likely due to a badly corroded (right)brake bleeder valve needle and seat, guessing from moisture in the system.

Fairchild 24W-40 Tailwheel

'Kindly inform me of the proper jacking point(s) for servicing the tailwheel on my Fairchild 24. I have a couple of photos of the tailwheel assembly, which would clarify two apparent problems:

'Can anyone inform me of the proper jacking points for my Fairchild 24W40 (with 200 hp Ranger)? I'd like to perform hydr strut maintenance, and while I'm at it wheel bearing replacement.

Also, is strut oil filled/measured at full extension, or under at-rest normal compression?

Oil Tank Dipstick

'Does anyone have an original F24R oil tank dipstick, or detailed drawings of same? What's installed in my Fairchild is a copper tube attached to the reservoir cap. It doesn't adequately indicate fluid level as fabricated. An extra for purchase or copying would be great.
Happy Holidays,
