'Does anyone have a PT-26 canopy release cable (p/n 68499) they would be willing to part with?  This is the cable that goes between the release handle and the plunger.

Thanks!

'if you could make a duplicate, I may let you borrow one that I might have on my spare canopy, but I cannot be sure until I will check today,    I will need to get it back.  Fritz,San Diego    From: fairchildclub@yahoogroups.com [mailto:fairchildclub@yahoogroups.com]

' Hi Ryan,
Actually, I think either will work.  My rear canopy had a long cable installed, which per dwg 68499 is for the front canopy, BUT it had a small spacer on the upper end, reducing it's effective length.  The Fleet canopy assy dwg. appears to show this spacer, but it's not clear.  I now have that cable installed on the front canopy just so I can open it.

I got the lower fairings made and did a test assembly of the whole thing.  Now just some painting, installing the glass (ugh) and it's done!

How are you doing?
Pete
