Stromberg carb connections

'Dear list,

I'd appreciate if someone could verify for me the fuel pressure and
primer connections to the Stromberg carb. I assume the fitting just
above the fuel inlet is the fuel pressure connection, and the float bowl
drain is where the primer hooks up. Correct?

Thanks,
David

' John, one other question maybe you can help me with. There is no obvious place on the panel or on the left side of the cockpit to mount the primer. Where was it mounted?  There's a PT-26 here at Ranchaero, and it's primer is mounted on a small side panel on the left side of the cockpit. Is this what was done on the -19? If so I'm going to have to find or make such a panel.

Thanks for your help,
David

'The primer is located on the engine mount left side next to the spot where the hand crank starter is inserted. The guy who gets to crank the "armstrong" starter injects a couple shots of prime before cranking the engine.

' Ah! that explains it. So I'll need to make my own mount in the cockpit.
Thanks for the help, Mike!

John, one other question maybe you can help me with.

Thanks for your help,
David

Dear list,

I'd appreciate if someone could verify for me the fuel pressure and
primer connections to the Stromberg carb. I assume the fitting just
above the fuel inlet is the fuel pressure connection, and the float bowl
drain is where the primer hooks up. Correct?

Thanks,
David
