ST250 LANDING LIGHT

'Hi All
As the UC-61K project starts going together, the more pieces we seem to find are not what we were told they are when we got the project.. (sound familiar)
We have a ST-250 Grimes landing light assembly that is fully functional, our problem, it's 12 volt and our UC-61K is a 24 volt system.
To make things simple, Does anyone have a 24V ST-250 to trade for our 12 Volt unit or sell?
Let me know
Thanks

I had my 24 volt ST250 refurbished by Avlite aviation – http://www.avliteaviation.com/ - maybe you could use yours as a core for a 24 volt one.

They had no spare bulbs but modified mine to take a modern sealed unit which replaces both the bulb and the reflector.

Not sure if that is acceptable to you though.

'Mike Redpath had quite a few 24 volt lights.  mike@musclerodz.com  If at worst, you can have the motor reworked to 12 volts.  JST  From:]

'Jim,
I believe I saw a 24volt model at the Blakesburg fly-in in the Fly market. It was along the east wall on a shelf. I looked at it hoping it was a 12v model.  Give Brent or Ben a call at the Antique Airplane Association. I'm looking to acquire a spare 12v sealed beam myself.  The Tiger Boys had some surplus 12v units at Blakesburg  of which I bought one, but the lamp is not a sealed beam.

A few parts needed for my PT-23

' I was wondering if anyone had a couple of the "hub caps" as they are called out in the IPB that go over the nuts on the main gear, Fig. 37, Ind. 6, PN A-32-27. I was needing a couple for my PT-23.
Also looking for a dipstick gauge for the main struts, Fig. 32, Ind. 1, PN 61117.
I'm also trying to fine a set of both data plates for my main struts and a good way to restore them so they are readable, Fig. 38, Ind. 16 & 17, Placard & Spec. Tag....
Thanks for any help, Steve in OK....

'Vintage Aircraft Group has two 24 V landing light systems and one spare 24 V bulb.  In addition we have four 12 V systems.  One is sealed beam the others have a small bulb and a reflector to guide the light.  We also have a new 12 V  450 V MAZDA 4540 bulb.  We do not know the status of any assembles as we were advised by our IA to not put power to the motor until it was disassembled, cleaned and fresh grease applied.  We are willing to sell the entire package of four 12 V systems (About 7" across) and the two 24 V systems as well as the new old stock 12 V and 24 V seal beam bulbs.  This would include any spare parts for the lights that we have.

  Jim,
I believe I saw a 24volt model at the Blakesburg fly-in in the Fly market.
