'Tom,
I machined a custom degree wheel for my Jake. Its about 14" in diameter and mounts on the front of the power case. I then made a split clamp with a pointer that mounts on the crankshaft between the case and back of the prop. I set TDC on #1 with a time-rite and then adjust the pointer.
It was a lot of work but man did it make setting the Mag/Distubtor timing and valve clearances a breeze. I'm sure you could make something similar for the Warner. If I get a chance I'll post some pics of it in my group album.
