operating 3 ? to 4 gal?s.

I keep mine about 3.5 gals. If I keep it topped off, it seems to blow out.
The bottom of the bevel of the spout for the oil filler cap seems to work
for me and minimizes excess oil on the airframe. I have the same issue with
cessna 172. It calls for 6-8 qts. If you fill to 8, it blows all over the
plane until it reaches 6qts. Fill it to 6, and it will stay there for a long
time with little blow-by.
