If Dick doesn,t need the door skin I sure need one for the left
door on my F24-It looks like it was in a hail storm. Please let me know.

'Ranger superchargers........
They can be found on the V-770 but not the 6-440.
It's not certified with superchargers.

Noticed your Aeromatic Prop w/Tarver Blades. I'm running a Beech Roby (on my Luscombe) I bought NOS from Kent Tarver. Really made a performer out of an A-65 Continental. I'll bet you'll love the Aeromatic.

the 220 Continental on it. I bought our Meyers OTW in SW Nevada (Sandy
Valley) almost 5 years ago and flew it back to Kansas. OTW has a 160 hp
Kinner and I basically flew back using I40 to US54 to Newton, KS. I would
NOT recommend flying in the western deserts in light planes in the Spring
when the winds are high-! It too me 3 days to fly the Meyers to Newton in
2001. Winds were gusting to 50 mph at Gallup, NM, when I landed there. Most
airport folks don't know anything about wing walkers anymore either so be
careful out there you all-!

My plan is to fly to Washington state across Wyoming, SE CO, Western Kansas,
Idaho in the Spring of 2006. Will take a route thence down to California and
maybe back the Southern Route eventually going through Phoenix, AZ, and back
I40 to Kansas.

field approval or are these even allowed on certified engines flying
on a certified airplane? It's all just day dreaming right now, but
it would be nice to have something like that available for the sake
of performance and I think the engine is plenty strong enough to take
the added stress and heat of a modest supercharger installation.

Did you ever find that copy of the RC Model article with Chuck Gupton
and a model of my airplane? I tried to send my e-mail address over
this message board, but it didn't go through, so I'll spell it here

Garmin stuff?)

I'll bet a cup of coffee your door skin looks like that because someone
sand blasted it instead of stripping it. But you never know, I've
lived in Texas all my life and have definitely seen it hail sideways
more than one time.

I could almost guarantee that a field approval would
never happen. The costs would be phenomenal regarding
the engineering to even see if the engine could handle
the stresses, recertifing the aircraft just to install
the engine, years (yes!) of paperwork involved.
There's a saying in North Jersey: FUGGETABOUDIT! )
It's not worth the aggravation. FAA could literally
tie up the effort for years.

I've been going full throttle the last couple of weeks
and I'll have some time this weekend to dig it out.
PM me directly with your snail mail address and I'll
send you a copy. I have a few extras.
