This year will be 100 years since Sherman Fairchild started the Fairchild Airplane business. The Hagerstown Museum is planning an event sometime in September according to John Seburn. If the crack is where I think it is, you don't have a problem. The strength of the spar is in the plywood webs, not the blocks inside the spar.

Wicks and Aircraft spruce no longer can get he small brass coated nails used for making ribs etc. I don't want to use staples. Anyone know of a soruce?? McMaster Carr doesn't have them either.
