Forum Outage on Dec 20, 2021

Hi all, the forum will be unavailable for a couple hours the morning of Monday, Dec 20, for upgrades. Assuming all goes well, the outage should be pretty short in reality.
Updates seem to have gone relatively smoothly. I don't think there should be any user-visible changes to the board itself, but if you see something wrong, please let us know.
One of the changes was to reconfigure how email is sent, which hopefully will cut down on the number of people who either find all emails in their Junk folder or who had emails dropped in a black hole. Previously, we were sending directly from the EC2 instance hosting the web board, but we now use AWS Simple Email Service to handle outgoing emails, which should drastically cut down on the email problems we're having.
