Hi,
My Fairchild 24 (Ranger powered) Kollsman RPM inidicator gave up all self respect and choose to be stuck at 2200 rpm.
Anyone knows of a replacement RPM indicator I can purchase?
Thanks,
Bart

Bart,
Check out this outfit. They've been in business for 85 years and have experience in lots of WWII units. You've got nothing to lose; might be something simple in the gearing.

Hello there Bart.........
Rusty Sharpe here, my thoughts on your tach, is to give Mike a call at Rudy's Aircraft Instruments in Rudy, Arkansas, I sent my identical tach off of the "Texaco 6"/1929 Great Lakes 2T-1A in for rebuild to him. They do great work at fair prices and have been around for 50 years. They have done allot of work over the years. I just acquired a 1939 Fairchild 24W this week that we will be restoring and all of the work on the insturments will go to them for sure.
If I can help, drop me a line or give me a call 903-910-9254 Central, in Brownsboro Texas
Regards, Rusty

I've had really good luck getting stuff like this fixed at Century Instrument.
