' #ygrps-yiv-227666459 P {margin-top:0;margin-bottom:0;} years ago we had an homemade heater, it was a small 2000Watt bathroom heat-blower, on which I glued ventilation hose (from kitchen blower) 3m long, and then we had an adapter on the front air inlet, in oder to blow hot air around cylinders. We used it few times during winter conditions, heating around 4 or 5 hours before Rolling the plane out of the hangar.
For oïl, I have some friends who use thermal heater plunger to warm up the oïl to 40°C, then then engine goes at good temperature quite rapidly.
