'Folks,
Now that my 'Argus' is flying - after 25 years - there are a few niggles that need attention, one of which is the throttle friction which does not exist at the moment.the small rubber doughnut which squeezes the shaft when the friction nut is tightened is past its use by date and has hardened with age.Does anybody know of a suitable replacement and where I would get one? or is there a work-around solution with o-rings/leather etc?Any pointers will be gratefully received - Many thanks
Frank Cox(Argus G-BCBL)

'I found an O Ring of the right size and used 2 of them. Worked well and still does 10 years later.'

'Thanks everybody,If Jim comes up trumps then I am in luck - otherwise the o-ring route seems the most feasible.Cables are not an option on the UC61K as they have rods operating through 3 bell cranks.Frank
