I had the same problem that you have. Mine happened to be in a box with some engine parts that was stolen. About $2K in new Warner parts and several boxes of used parts that only had, at most, a couple 100 hours. I still had the wood blocks that clamped around the diagonal tube which was nice. I fabricated the mounting plate and ended up using a 90 deg. 1" dia. (I think) ABS elbow as a replacement. Cut the female side at 45 deg. angle. Then cut about 1/4" off the female collar. The hole that I cut in the mounting place was just a tick larger than the male side diameter. After mounting the plate, I put the male side through the plate and put the collar in the back side with a couple drops of cement. I didn't put it on tight so it would rotate easily. All of those areas between the windshield frame that the wood blocks (covered them with upholstery fabric), packed in a thin strip of felt to seal it off, to force the air through the home made ABS vent.In case you haven't done it, be sure to drill a drain hole in the inboard rear corner of the wings air box,....to drain any water when it rains. You will need someone with really small hands. I think I used 1 3/4" scat duct between the wing duct and the windshield frame. Used RTV sparingly on both ends, but not at the ON/OFF rod. My control rod was really tight, may need some future work to free it up. I may need a flexible coupler on the rod between the wing and cabin. There is no chance of finding my original vents.
