'Does anyone have any good, high resolution photos of wartime Fairchild
PT or UC aircraft parts inspection stamps, or would be willing to make
some for me? I have a couple of Bellanca ones for my AT-21, but I need
some from Fairchild.? My AT was the 2nd one produced by Bellanca, and
knowing how production was and is now, there were bound to be Fairchild
produced parts on the first two or three co-produced aircraft.
If you can make some, the photos need to be square to the stamp and need
to have a scale very close by in the photo. Scale preference is the
1/50th- 1/100th side of a 16R scale and at maximum camera resolution.
These will be used to create the drawings to have some stamps made. I
already have the specification on hand for the AAC acceptance stamps,
but any of those that happen to be visible would be appreciated as well.
Completed drawings will be available to anyone, and will credit the
source aircraft and owner(s) that provided them.
Thanks,
Craig
