F24 Pedal question

'Hi AllJust a curious question on rudder pedals.  Can anyone send me a measurement of the pilot side pedals in the neutral position from center of Bolt head that attaches the brake Pedal to the fire wall.After seeing some nice aircraft at OSHKOSH this past week and checking my Pedals, it appears my pedals are much further aft the others.Pictures would be Great!

'I think that I could probably over simplify it.  You could lock the right or left pedal fully forward against the stop, at the firewall.  Then adjust the turnbuckle at mid-fuselage until the rudder is against the stop at the tail post.  Then reverse it and lock the opposite pedal against the stop at the firewall, then adjust the turn buckle to bring the rudder against the stop at the rear of the fuselage.  Then I would adjust the idler pulley that is just under the floor board at the front of the front seat to take slack out of the all of the cables.  I wouldn't think you need to go really tight.  It doesn't look that strong.  The threaded bolt, Aluminum bracket and no ball bearing on the pulley and a small cable would answer that question.  Sort of snug but not tight.I will be near the Fairchild later today.  As I remember, the pedal is just about straight up and down when they are at neutral position.Do you have an Email address that takes photos?

Mine measures 8 1/8" to the heat blanket so - say 1/4" for the blanket - 8 3/38 total. - that is with the pedals lined up as they are slightly offset with the control lock engaged.
Just as well the boot cowl is off - still waiting for Andair fuel valves.

I think that I could probably over simplify it.  You could lock the right or left pedal fully forward against the stop, at the firewall..  Then adjust the turnbuckle at mid-fuselage until the rudder is against the stop at the tail post.  Then reverse it and lock the opposite pedal against the stop at the firewall, then adjust the turn buckle to bring the rudder against the stop at the rear of the fuselage.  Then I would adjust the idler pulley that is just under the floor board at the front of the front seat to take slack out of the all of the cables.  I wouldn't think you need to go really tight.  It doesn't look that strong.  The threaded bolt, Aluminum bracket and no ball bearing on the pulley and a small cable would answer that question.  Sort of snug but not tight.I will be near the Fairchild later today.  As I remember, the pedal is just about straight up and down when they are at neutral position.Do you have an Email address that takes photos?
