 I forgot to put the pricce  in my last post for the Warner mounts. Manfred has $87.50 each in his information to me.

'I have a 1940 24W but the Warner engine is not with it and instead I have an STC for a Jacobs 755 along with a three jake engines.  My question is whether the warner mounts will work with the jake.   Do you happen to know the dimentions of the mount?  Length, girth, id of metal bushing? I suspicion that they will be the same as the stc drawing because in the end they still have to mount to the aircraft frame but before i order them i need to be certain.

'Jamie,  If you know the 'set up' for the Jacobs 'set up' why don't you pass the information on to Mike Thomas instead of just telling him 'it's different'. Any information is better than none. Knowledge is one thing a person give away (share) and it doesn't cost him anything.

'Don’t know the setup. Need to follow the STC. Depends on the mount setup. The Jake setup on the Waco’s utilize bushings that are similar to Cont A-65/O-200 type. Just many of them for support. 'Like i said, all i need are the physical dimensions of the mounts he is making for the warners.   Once i know that i can see if they are the same as the stc mount dimensions.  Im not mounting a jake on a waco, it is mounting to a Fairchild 24w and the lord mounts the stc calls for are no longer made.  Surely someone has take a set of calipers and measured them.

'Mike,  Forget about the Warner mounts. Will not work. You will not be using the Fairchild mount ring, Warner engine, or Warner engine bushings. You will most likely get them from Radial Engines or Southland Manuf. They are easy to come by.  JST      From:

'Lord calls the bushings mounts. So i do mean the bushings.  So that we are clear i need the rubberized bushing that fits between the engine mount  and the frame. It will look like a round piece of rubber with a metal tube going thru it.  The bushing slips into a round tube at the end of each leg of the engine mount then a bolt goes thru the frame mount, thru the bushing and thru the frame mount once again.  I dont know how to be more clear. What i need are the dimensions of the bushing.  The length, the outside diameter, the inside diameter, etc
