'Personally, I like the clear RTV. Don't use it to excess. Mask off the areas where you don't want it to be. When it sets up, it is a bitch to get off a painted surface without wrecking pain, or plexiglass. Wipe off excess immediately. I tried to keep the RTV away from the inner and outer most edge of the window frame. I didn't try good enough, too much excess to wipe off.If you haven't done it, the windshield is a real bear.Bob

Well my 1937 H model has glass windows , not plexiglass, any good grade of calking will work, mine have no sealant and they don’t leak, but I don’t fly in the rain.
