I have an Eclipse  four Bolt 28.5 Volt generator. Serial # A2418 Order number 43-8282P\Man Dwg 112180-1235-1 On the attach end there is the following stamp  EA 20245 There are six groves on the shaft. There is no part number shown on the plate.

I have a champion 24 volt (I think) which came off my Ranger (Argus III 24 volt system) – I’m putting on an alternator.

I will look tomorrow when I go to the ‘Shed’ and get what I can off the Data plate. It was working when it came off 18 years ago. Would you be interested?

'    I checked the generators on two Ranger engines this morning.  The 24 volt one is a little longer but will fit OK.  It is not as big around. Maybe 1/2" smaller in diameter.  There is a place to attach a cooling hose. The bolt pattern is the same as the engine.  The engine must be female for the shaft to slide into. Generally the same set up as the 12 Volt system.  I think it would work just fine.  If you find it does not fit you can return it for a refund.
I think $250.00 plus shipping would work unless you think it should be more.  We are a not for profit so any cash helps keep our airport open.
