What a great day Saturday. I was out setting on the back porch and watching the skydivers with Mt. Hood as the back drop. With a Ice tea in hand and listing to the jumpers hooting and shouting as they came down. Then I heard a sound. You know. the sound that make you stop and look... It was the sweet sound of a radial engine and it was coming closer and closer. I live right on the top edge of a canyon that over looks that Clackamas river. and about 200 feet above me comes the Plane. It was a Fairchild 24 a beautiful yellow plane flying just 200 feet above my home.and following right behind was a Waco UPF7 The Waco colors were blue and yellow and after checking my old log books I found It was a plane that I new well as I was luckly enough to both fly this plane in the past and work on it. Today I am in the shop working on wings of my plane N4714 and remember Kids are the future of Aviation. Get the involved.
