Hey, Warner users -- Is there an installation torque recommendation for the spark plugs of my SS165.  What do you fellows do?

Thanks,

' There is a reference in the Scarab shop manual that calls out 25-30 ft/lbs. However, I have concerns about the spark plug boss backing out of the head with the plug (it's happened to me twice). I'm on the light side of 25 now, with judicious use of anti-seize. Just enough to make sure the plug stays put.   Bill McClure -----Original Message-----

'25-30 is correct. If you are torqueing to 25 and the plug's threaded insert is backing out you will need to repair the interface between the plug insert and the head.'
