'Does anyone know if there is a source for reproduction wheel pants for F-24's? Some one is looking for a source. There use to be someone who was making fiberglass ones but I haven't heard of them for some years now.

I received an email today in regard to F-24 wheel pants from Roy Redman
(Waco). Jim Rattray has the molds for the F-24 pants and other fairings.
Has had them for years. If you need some, go direct to Jim. He keeps all his
molds.



I asked him to provide a list of what he has molds for. Will provide to Mike
for the next news letter.



I have seen the finished products, you cannot tell the difference until you
look inside.

'Contact Dr. Roy C. Wicker at 1229-263-4019 for the glass reinforced plastic (GRP) mold he made for the 6.50x10 GRP wheel pants he manufactured for his Grand Champion D-1W Davis in 1993.  Dr. Wicker, former WW2  Navel Aviator and retired dentist is in the process of selling his collection of aviation treasures. Tell him Hugh sent you. See June 1993 Vintage Airplane for the cover picture of Roy Wickers Grand Champion Davis in flight. Perfect workmanship typical for a dentist and a stunning Davis D-1W.
Also available is the GRP mold for the Warner 145 bump cowl he manufactured for the Davis and a Stromberg NA-R5A carburetor for the Warner 145 engine.
