'I have a Fairchild 24 in my shop for an annual. I was wondering if anyone had jack pads or even drawings of pads that they have used to lift the fuselage at the jackpoints behind the steps to rebuild the main landing gear struts. I am thinking of welding a bracket up but I would rather not re invent the wheel.

Thanks much

'Attach an arm lift crane to the Tripod junction and lift from there. a 2 inch strap does a nice job of attachment.

After the gear leg is off, you can place a regular tripod jack under the forward gear leg attachment fitting, the CG is right at the forward wing spar, so it will set there OK.
