'Tim,
They came in a few sizes and locations. Leading edge and under the wing coming out of the cuff. I just found two of the old style units that came out of the cuff.
The owner wanted ADS-B capability, so I did not use. Went with a small unit from Acft Spruce that has the static port incorp. PITOT-STATIC TUBE #15144 Turned out clean. See attach pic to your email account. System will not forward to Yahoo.
Fairchild drawing 44211 shows a heated Pitot that I have never seen. Drawing 41465 shows the non-static type. The project I’m working on has two left over. I have attached the drawings for your use.
Call with any questions.

Subject: [fairchildclub] Pitot Tube
Anyone have photos of a pitot tube for an F24 or similar? Our F24 did not come with a pitot tube and we are fabricating one. Our documentation shows one on the left wing, about 18 inches long?
If no photo is available, a technical description including location, length and fittings would help.
Thanks
Tim
