'Joe,
I am using the Concorde RG-35AXC in my 24W-40 and have had very good luck with it. It has the extra cranking power, maintains voltage, and is 4 years old.

'Hi,
Your 24W use 12 volt power or are you using 2 batteries (I see that the Concorde is a 12 Volt battery)?
Many thanks

'For what it is worth, I am using Concorde RG batteries in all my aircraft, and recommend them to all my customers as well. I have used them since they came out, and have found them to have better cranking power and reliability, with no negatives that I have seen, The only caveat is to understand the charging requirements, and use an appropriate charger. I have one in the 24G now and aas all my other experience, it is working just fine.

'We are using Concord RG AXC batteries in all of our planes now (except the 24W-40 only because the Gill POS still gets the job done). The concord is a MUCH better battery and is light years ahead of Gill for Lead-Acid batteries. Properly maintained, they will last decades.
