instrument panel brackets

'OUR MUSEUM (MAPS) HAVE RUN INTO A MISSING PARTS PROBLEM ON OUR PT 19, WE SEEM TO HAVE MISPLACED 4 INSTRUMENT PANEL BRACKETS. WE HAVE THE DASH BRACKETS BUT THE ONES THAT SCREW TO INSTRUMENT PANEL WE DON'T HAVE. IN THE BOOK IT SAYS THAT THERE 2 LEFT AND 2 RIGHT. WE ARE IN THE PROCESS OF PUTTING UP DATED PICS ON THE WEB SITE AT MAPS AS SOON AS WE DO I'LL EMAIL YOU AND YOU CAN SEE OUR PROGRESS. THANK YOU'

'I know it us slightly different subject.  Years ago, I made drawings for the Fairchild 24's mounts that attach to the instrument panel.  If you looked at the drawings, you can get a good idea how to make them but they lack the details that you would really want.  After some trial and errors, they turned out satifactory.  I would print out the drawing, to scale, then glue it to the 1/8" aluminum sheet metal.  All the break lines, hole locations, radius of bends, and the amount of bends.
 
Tid Bit - did you notice the 1/8" hole slightly above or below the mounting screw holes in the instrument panel?  They match up with a 1/8" hole in the "L" bracket on the backside.  A rib stitch needle through both holes alligns things up for ease of inserting a flat head screw into place.
